Jack D. McMaken, President
• Joined AcryMed in August of 1997 as President and Chief Executive Officer.
• Has extensive experience as a senior manager for consumer, healthcare and industrial
products in both domestic and international markets.
• Previously worked for Kimberly-Clark Corporation, where he served as Director of Business Development, Marketing and Sales from 1985 to 1997 and as National Sales Manager for Geriatric Health Care Division from 1982 to 1985.
• Served as the Divisional Marketing Director for United Telecommunications Corporation from 1981 to 1982.
• Received BS in Biology and Chemistry from Vanderbuilt University and attended the Graduate School of Business at Boston College and the University of Chicago.
Bruce L. Gibbins, Ph.D, Chief Technical Officer
• Dr. Gibbins founded AcryMed in 1993.
• In 1987, Dr. Gibbins co-founded Zenith Technology, a biotechnology company in Dunedin, New Zealand.
• Served as Associate Director and Manager of Microbiology Research and Development Division at Zenith from 1987 to 1992.
• Dr. Gibbins held the position of tenured Senior Lecturer in the Department of Microbiology at the University of Otago Medical School, New Zealand from 1980-1992.
• From 1976 to 1980, he was a Research Scientist and Lecturer in the Department of Microbiology, University of Otago Medical School.
• Dr. Gibbins obtained his BS, MS and Ph.D. degrees in Bacteriology and Public Health from Washington State University.
John A. Calhoun, Chief Financial Officer
• Joined AcryMed in June of 2003.
• Spent 19 years with Intel Corporation in a variety of senior financial and administrative positions including Corporate Controller and Director of Business Development.
• In 1991, Mr. Calhoun left Intel and became President of Creative Multimedia.
• Since helping sell Creative Multimedia in 1995, he has been an investor, board member or manager of a dozen entrepreneurial businesses.
• Received a BA degree from Dartmouth College and an MBA from Stanford University in 1968.
